The Essendon Electricians For Quick Home Renovations

The Orlando Powered team worked with a local building company to make this Essendon couple’s home renovation dreams come true – in just five days!

During the first phase of the house renovation, we coordinated with the builders to disconnect the power and everything electrical prior to the walls being pulled down. As this home wasn’t very old, the switchboard was able to handle the electrical upgrades to be completed. On an older Essendon home, we might have recommended a switchboard upgrade.

After the builders had completed their part of the demolition and built the additional walls within the home, we arrived to begin the electrical installation. Working off the plans, we ran new cables from where the additional power points and lighting would be, as well as other additional home wiring that would be concealed behind the walls.

The next phase saw us fitting out the lighting upgrades such as pendant lights and downlights. We also installed the new kitchen and bathroom appliances after the builders had completed the plastering. We fit out the final powerpoints, finishing off by cleaning the walls to leave the home sparkling clean! We wanted to make sure the owners got the best first impression of their investment, with not a fingerprint in sight.

Finally, we completed the final electrical safety test to ensure everything worked as it should.
